Upcoming Events:

The Atlanta Dream partnered with us this year to make it the ultimate camp experience! We conducted our first mock draft for our players! Our campers had the opportunity to understand what it takes to be a true professional athlete. From buying houses, cars, investing in school, these future athletes had a challenge of making, saving and investing their money. To culminate this whole experience BankShot was honored with the ball exchange during the WNBA Fever vs Dream game televised on ESPN (video below). I want to personally thank everyone who supported and participated in Bank$hot basketball this year. We look forward to continuing to work with you at future events!

It's A Family Affair!

Atlanta, Ga  July-August 2014

My great Leaders,

It has been a busy summer! Bank$hot had two successful camps at the EpiCenter and The Galloway School. We were able to reach a wide variety of talent in a short amount of time. These players throughout the week incorporated drills, skills and life lessons to help to become better citizens. Each camp had something special: The EpiCenter was graced with the presence of Anika Henry, post player for Atlanta Dream, who conducted our first mock draft getting paid in silly bands :) The Galloway School had the opportunity to relax by the pool the last day at Chastain Park. Both camps met up at Philips arena and a 12 of them were opportunity to be a part of the ball exchange.

These young athletes continue to impress me more and more throughout my journey on this Earth. I enjoy their presence, laughter and the way they challenge me as a coach, mentor, and friend. As I go through the summer I have the opportunity to travel with a group of yong ladies from Peak Performance. Recently, we visited Chicago for the Nike Tournament and compete against the best in the country. We also had a little downtime and visited Taste of Chicago. Man, we love to eat! I want to say congratulations to the girls for a great effort this summer in hoops and hopes of earning a college scholarship!

College Scholarships and Professional Basketball Info

For many of you who look to get a college scholarship, you must put in the work and be willing to sacrifice your wants for your needs. What does that mean? If your shot is less the 35% from the field, you need to be in the gym working on repitition: ball handling, shooting, one-on-one moves and counters.

Professional bound: You want to create "buzz" about yourself to go to the next level.

1. Have a high light tape of yourself and a great half of a game that overseas scouts can watch.

2.Go to and search for teams, countries, etc. you would like to experience. OR

3. Create a YouTube link and email general managers in Europe with your interest to continue playing. In this link include school, postion(s), height, weight, hometown, and any cultural factoid about yourself.

*Finding an agent can help in placement and salary but you also need to be willing to do your work first. Taking this initiative will confirm to some agents your interest to play WNBA and overseas.

Bank$hot Basketball's mission is to provide awareness of financial responsibility to aspiring children and young adults.  This aspect integrated with basketball will provide a well-rounded program of financial education, health, and physical well-being.

We have basketball camps across Georgia, led by professional basketball player Kiesha Brown. Kiesha works with boys and girls ages 6 to 18 with a focus to provide awareness of financial responsibility to aspiring professional athletes while illustrating an invariable bond between the two.

Individual training is for athletes with intermediate skill ages 12 and above. Currently, we are not taking any more clients for training. Please stay posted for individual skills clinics in the Buckhead area.

No Ordinary Basketball Camp
Want to inspire your kids to look to the future with responsibility and accountability? Kiesha uses her talents and experience as a professional basketball player to reach youth through sports. It's not just and ordinary basketball camp, Kiesha and her staff are aspiring children and young adults in the community to be financial literate and responsible.

“As a parent of a basketball player, you should only hope for your daughter to have fun and work hard.  But because of how Kiesha Brown teaches the game, my daughter has fallen in love with basketball and is completely sold out to the idea of getting better on the court, in the classroom, and in her community.  It is beyond words to describe the lifelong impact Kiesha has already had on my daughter’s life.  We consider our family so blessed because of Kiesha’s presence and influence.” - Cathy Williams
